When school is in session it is easy to stick to a good morning routine, but once the sun comes out it is easy to forget breakfast and head straight into your daily adventure. Whether you’re headed out to hike the canyon, kayak in Cle Elum lake, or just hang out poolside, don’t forget to fuel up for the day! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, after all. A smoothie is one of my favorite ways to start a summer day; it’s cold, healthy, easy to take on-the-go, and fully customizable! I normally start with a base of frozen fruit, then add yogurt and milk. Some of my other favorite ingredients include:
